The LINEO LED T5/T8 retrofit module from Brumberg is the perfect solution for the quick and easy conversion of conventional fluorescent tubes to modern LED technology. With a length of 54.9 cm, it easily replaces 60 cm long T5 or T8 tubes without modifying the existing luminaire. Thanks to its plug & play socket, connecting to an external control gear is child's play. This allows you to benefit from significant energy savings while enjoying a considerably longer service life.

Technical Highlights and Light Quality

The LINEO module impresses with a power consumption of only 13.5 watts, delivering a luminous flux of up to 2079 lumens at 4000 Kelvin neutral white or 1890 lumens at 3000 Kelvin warm white. The color temperature can be conveniently set in two steps via the external control gear, while a color consistency of 3 SDCM ensures an even light pattern. With a color rendering index of over 80Ra, colors are rendered naturally and vividly, making it ideal for pleasant general lighting.

Durability and Energy Efficiency in Focus

The retrofit module features an impressive average lifespan of 50,000 hours, which reduces maintenance costs in the long term. The high luminous efficacy of 154 lumens per watt ensures efficient use of the energy consumed. Compared to conventional fluorescent tubes, the module consumes only about 14 kWh per 1000 operating hours, enabling noticeable reductions in electricity costs and lowering the ecological footprint.

Flexibility and Easy Installation

Thanks to its slim design made of aluminum and plastic, as well as a beam angle of 130 degrees, the LINEO module produces a broad, homogeneous area light. Installation is made even faster and more flexible with optional magnetic holders, though screw mounting is also possible. The integrated through-wiring allows time-saving connection of multiple modules on just one supply line, which is especially advantageous for larger retrofit projects.

Safety and Compatibility

The LINEO retrofit module operates with a supply voltage of 15 to 54 volts DC and meets protection class III (SELV), ensuring safe low-voltage operation. Dimming capability depends on the control gear used and also supports DALI-2 controls. The product is eligible for BEG funding, offering additional financial benefits when modernizing lighting systems. Accessories such as control gears, mounting magnets, or light color switches are available separately and allow individual customization to your needs.
