The recessed spotlight operates with a fixed LED light source that provides a luminous flux of 680 lumens at only 6 watts of energy consumption. The luminous efficacy of 113 lumens per watt ensures bright yet energy-saving light. The average lifespan of the LED is an impressive 30,000 hours, requiring infrequent lamp replacements. The light distribution is direct with a beam angle of 38 degrees, which can be individually adjusted thanks to a swiveling light distributor.

The installation of the TIRREL-S is done by mounting it into the ceiling, requiring a recessed depth of 5 cm and a mounting hole with a diameter of 6.8 cm. Installation is facilitated by the possibility of wiring multiple luminaires in series. The spotlight is designed for a constant current of 350 mA and is powered via a 230V terminal. Dimming is possible using phase-cut dimmers, which are available separately, allowing the light intensity to be easily adjusted to individual needs.
