The MR11 LED module from Rutec offers an excellent alternative to conventional low-voltage halogen lamps. With a diameter of 3.5 cm and a height of 5.5 cm, the round light source is compact and versatile. It produces a warm white light at 3000 Kelvin, creating a pleasant atmosphere and can be precisely directed thanks to its 40° beam angle. The halogen optics ensure an even light distribution reminiscent of familiar halogen light, while operating more energy-efficiently.

Energy Efficiency and Long Service Life

The LED module consumes only 5.5 watts at a nominal current of 600 mA, which corresponds to an energy consumption of about 6 kWh per 1,000 hours. Despite its low power consumption, it delivers a luminous flux of 662 lumens, providing bright and clear illumination. The average lifespan of 50,000 hours guarantees long usage without frequent replacement, making the module maintenance-free and cost-effective. Passive heat dissipation through the optimized aluminum heat sink further supports its longevity.

Simple and Safe Installation

The LED module is equipped with an open cable end and comes with a connecting cable, simplifying installation. An external dimmable constant current driver is required for operation, which is not included in the delivery. Installation is done in series connection, allowing multiple modules to be easily connected together. Protection class 3 ensures safe operation within the specified ambient temperature range of -20 to +45 °C.

High-Quality Materials and Tested Safety

The module housing is made of robust aluminum and black plastic, providing good heat dissipation and stability. The light color is warm white with a color rendering index of over 80 Ra, ensuring natural color reproduction. The product is ENEC certified, which stands for tested quality and safety. The IP20 protection rating indicates protection against solid foreign objects but does not protect against moisture.
