The LED moisture-proof luminaire SOTANO is a robust and versatile lighting solution for indoor and outdoor areas. With a housing made of impact-resistant polycarbonate (PC), it provides protection against moisture and dust (IP54) as well as against accidents and vandalism (IK08). Ideal for installation in basements, sanitary rooms, utility rooms, garages, workshops, or in protected outdoor areas.
Technical details
The moisture-proof luminaire has a power consumption of 4.5 / 7.5W and can be operated in two power levels to achieve the desired brightness and optimize energy consumption. With 22x SMD 2835 LED light sources, it offers a luminous flux of 430-750lm and a diffuse light distribution. The color temperature is adjustable from 3000K (warm white) to 4000K (neutral white).
Operation and installation
The moisture-proof luminaire has 2 rear switches for adjusting the color temperature and power level. It offers easy surface mounting with 5 cable entries at different points. Through-wiring for the installation of multiple luminaires in a row is possible. The power connection is made via a terminal block and the operating voltage is 220-240V~.
Accessories and applications
Included in the delivery are a dimmer switch, a light color switch, mounting accessories, and a driver. The moisture-proof luminaire is suitable for use on ceilings and walls. It is durable, switch-resistant, and energy-efficient with a mean lamp life of 72000 hours. The application range extends to both indoor and outdoor areas.

Further features of the moisture-proof luminaire include the possibility of replacing the LED by a professional, high color consistency (MacAdam: 6 SDCM), a high power factor of 0.5, and a low luminous flux at the end of the service life (0.7). The moisture-proof luminaire is classified in energy efficiency class E and has an energy consumption of 8kWh/1,000 h. It offers a maximum number of 15 luminaires that can be connected in series.
