With a diameter of 64 cm and a height of 2.4 cm, this round insert element can be easily integrated into the luminaire with a diameter of 75 cm and a height of 5 cm. It significantly improves room acoustics by absorbing disturbing noises and reverberation. This noticeably enhances acoustic clarity during conversations and presentations.

Technical Details and Material Quality

The acoustic element is made from PET plastic, with approximately 80% of the material consisting of recycled PET. This not only ensures sustainable production but also high quality and stability. The textured surface additionally supports sound insulation and gives the element an appealing appearance. With a sound absorption coefficient (aw) of 0.70 and an NRC value of 0.85, the product impresses with effective sound absorption.

Safety and Durability

The SILENTIUM acoustic element meets the requirements of fire protection class B according to BS EN 13501.1 with the classification B - s1, d0. This means it is flame-retardant and provides additional safety. Furthermore, the material underwent a colorfastness test according to ISO 105 B02, achieving a high colorfastness rating of 6-7. This guarantees that the colors remain vibrant and durable even after extended use.
